in the historical downtown of Roma, between Piazza di Spagna and
Vatican City. It is within walking distance to the Trinita dei Monti
strairway, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The elegant
and comfortable rooms are furnished with all modern facilities like
air-conditioning, colour TV, telephone and in room safe. The Il
Valentino restaurant offers a refined and original menu that changes
every season to offer you only the freshest ingredients. In the
welcoming Piano bar, the atmosphere can only lead to pure relaxation.
This hotel has a floor reserved for meetings with 3 boardrooms equipped
with all facilities. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The
hotel was in a good location, close to bus (right outside the door)
and metro (a five minute walk) stations, easy walking distance to
some main attractions, excellent location for shopping. All of the
hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would reccommend this hotel
to anyone. We booked at a promotional rate and didn't think breakfast
was included, so it was an extra bonus when we were told it was!
The only thing I was not happy about was when we asked for an iron
for our clothes. We were told it was "forbidden" and that
there was a place across the street. We didn't look into the place
because we didn't need one that badly, it just would have been nice
for our dress clothes. Other than that, we had a great stay in a
comfortable room in a nice quiet section of the hotel."
